Data Deletion Instructions

letspost.it ("the Service", "we", "us") respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains how to request deletion of data we hold about you, including data received from connected social platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, and Google (YouTube).

What data we hold

When you connect a social account through letspost.it we receive and store the following on your behalf:

How to request data deletion

Option 1 — Delete your account (recommended)

The fastest way to remove all your data is to delete your letspost.it account from within the app:

  1. Sign in at letspost.it
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Account and confirm

Deleting your account will permanently erase all posts, media, profiles, connected account tokens, and personal data within 24 months after account deletion. Billing records are retained for 5 years for tax purposes and up to 10 years where commercial law applies (Brazilian Civil Code, art. 206, §5º) as required by law.

Option 2 — Email request

If you cannot access your account or prefer to submit a deletion request by email, send a message to support@letspost.it with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — specific instructions

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to letspost.it and you would like us to delete the data we received via Meta's platforms, you can:

  1. Remove letspost.it from your Facebook app permissions: facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites
  2. Send a deletion request to support@letspost.it with the subject line "Meta data deletion request".

Upon receiving your request we will delete the OAuth tokens, account identifiers, and any metadata associated with your Meta-connected accounts within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

TikTok — specific instructions

If you connected your TikTok account to letspost.it, you can revoke our access directly in TikTok's app:

  1. Open TikTok → Profile → ⋮ Settings → Security → Authorized apps
  2. Find letspost.it and tap Revoke

After revoking access, send a deletion request to support@letspost.it and we will permanently delete the associated tokens and metadata within 30 days.

YouTube / Google — specific instructions

If you connected your YouTube channel via Google sign-in, you can revoke our access directly from your Google Account, then ask us to delete the data we received. letspost.it's use of YouTube API Services follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

  1. Revoke letspost.it at myaccount.google.com/permissions
  2. Send a deletion request to support@letspost.it "YouTube data deletion request".

Upon receiving your request we will delete the OAuth tokens, YouTube channel identifiers, and any cached YouTube metadata within 30 days and send you a confirmation email.

Other platforms (X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Business Profile)

For any other platform you connected through letspost.it, follow the same two-step pattern:

  1. Revoke letspost.it's access in that platform's own connected-apps / authorized-apps settings.
  2. Send a deletion request to support@letspost.it naming the platform whose data you want erased.

We treat every platform's data identically: OAuth tokens, account identifiers, and post metadata are deleted within 30 days of your request, and you receive an email confirmation.

Disconnecting individual accounts

To remove a connected account without deleting your entire letspost.it account:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Accounts
  2. Click Disconnect on any account card

This immediately deletes the OAuth tokens for that account from our systems. Post metadata referencing that account may be retained until you delete it manually or delete your account.

Verifying deletion

After submitting a deletion request, you will receive a confirmation email from support@letspost.it with details of what was deleted. If you have not received a confirmation within 30 days, please follow up using the same email address.

Data retained after deletion

The following data may be retained after a deletion request for the period specified, as required by applicable law:
